They're owned by GazProm - before this little global financial whoopsy, they were valued at very nearly $350 billion, but now only worth about 1/4 of that.

Surely this deal is now dead. Arshavin was in London early yesterday morning and still the deal is yet to be complete. What excuses can Arsenal give the FA for this delay. The window is now closed, so how can this deal go through? An extension was granted by FIFA due to the adverse weather conditions, but with the Russian playmaker being close to the Emirates Stadium yesterday, i am puzzled why this deal is still alive. Is it simply because Arsenal are a "big four club", that the rules are being bent? It would'nt be the first time a blind eye has been turned to favour Arsenal, Liverpoo, Manure and Chelski, would it?

The Arshavin myth continues. He was anonymous against us at home, like the rest of the Zenit side.

I didn't even notice Arshavin once and i was a fan of him at the time.

As for Riquelme, wow.
