Welcome to Barcelonaton FC
Absolutely sickening

BUT....I hope he shines and shows himself to be a class player for Arsenal

Love you Mikky....you'll be missed and I hope certain people at the club apologised to you for not helping you reach your goals

You'll be missed

People will groan and moan, but you cannot blame him.

Same as you cannot blame every player who moves on deadline day.

What will be will be.

All we can all hope for is that what we have or get works out.

Mikel was a star for us and will be missed, but the void will be filled.

B.

Forget about it.

Hope he does well but also hope fellani and barkley boss him at the emirates...(in the nicest possible sense)

Will be missed... Can't really blame him though.
Shame he left his friends behind, but it is a good step forward in his career, and that seems a bit more important at his age now. Hope he gives us a year/joins back as a coach when his contract is up/retires...
Absolute legend! Still the Best Little Spaniard we know!

"Follow, follow, follow..."

In fairness to him, he gave his best years to the club and was boss. The one thing that riles me is him asking to leave so late.

I'm in tears here, and for the first time ever on GOT it's not from laughter. I'm ****ing heartbroken, and it's not his fault, it's just everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I reckon we show him what he is missing...

when arsenal come to goodison, sing 'follow follow follow' show him no club will ever appreciate him as much as we did..

Good luck to him, hope it goes well for him - I think he will fit in excellently at Arsenal. Last year he was bound to have had assurances made to him and Everton haven't delivered and this is his last chance to play in the Champs Lge and win something.

Everton will move on, need to draw a line under the whole thing and start again. It will give opportunities to other players too, just hope they take them.

Good luck Mikel and one saying comes to mind 'You don't know what you have got till it's gone'.

Going to be missed massively!

Not been this gutted about losing a player since Rooney left.

Wish him all the best at Arsenal, and feel certain we had his best years.

Still the best little spaniard we know.

I wish him nothing but the best. He deserves the opportunity to ply his trade on the grandest stage of club football, something we; realistically, were never going to be able to offer him.

From an Everton perspective, the fee is a little light in my opinion, but it means that we can now look to play Barkley in his strongest position as a direct replacement. Too much pressure for a 17 year old? We'll see, but I think perhaps not.

Thank you Mikel for your excellent service and commitment, I can only hope that given the opportunity Moyes can spend another £2.5m so wisely at the next opportunity.

That would not have been his decision mate. Everton would have made him do that so they don't have to pay him out, we do it to everyone. Rooney, Lescott, AJ and now Mikel off the top of my head.

Probably my favourite Everton player ever

Sadly we've not been good enough of recent times, you can't blame him. Seeing him in a red shirt will kill me, but hopefully a midfield of Barkley, Fellaini, Bilyaletdinov, Osman, Cahill, Coleman, Drenthe plus some defenders who like a game there will be able to cope

He's going to find his feet again at Arsenal I have no doubt
