What's this guy gotta do to get a look in with Spain?

I'm thoroughly convinced that not only is Aragones is racist (a la his comments on Thierry Henry a few years back), but he doesn't know his football either.

New caps handed to a few new midfielders (including one across the park if I read it right) yet Arteta continues to be one of the top midfielders in the Premiership and can't even get a sniff.

Something tells me there's more to it than what we are seeing.

Meanwhile, Spain will continue to underachieve with this guy at the helm.

Sometimes I think if Ronaldo played for Everton he wouldn't get in the portugal squad.

Still if Arteta played for New Zealand or Antartica or Christmas Island, you can be [Poor language removed] sure he'd be getting selected and missing huge swathes of the season for no apparent reason.

Starting to like our players with no international commitments.

He played for the U-21s in Spain. So I think he has to wait 10 years. The same thing happened to Cahill when he played for the Somoan? Islands when he was like 16. He had to wait 10 years to play for Austrailia.
