His actions last night were less than great.

I think if there's one thing we've always seen in recent years regardless of the circumstances is a great camaraderie amongst our players. That didn't fit the bill. He showed no concern until very late in the day and that is not on.

Think this needs putting to bed. You are trying to convince people that Williams is a villain and get people to turn against him. I really do not know what you expected from a captain of the opposition team in the heat of battle. The reality set in later and he had a consoling word with Seamus and also missed the team coach to see his club team mate in hospital. That's what it is and try as much as you like to disgrace Williams but know he did nothing wrong and you should concentrate more on vilifying the guilty party...Taylor.

As ridiculous as last nights attempted vilification of Williams was, I put it down to the understandable reaction to one of our most important and popular players suffering from from a nasty second rate tackle ,delivered by a nasty second rate footballer.
People who are continuing this disgusting witch hunt this morning are revealing themselves to be snide and self serving. They appear to be more concerned with denigrating the the new management and players of our club than providing anything that loosely resembles 'support'. Contemptable.
Let's get this straight ,Williams did absolutely NOTHING wrong, end of. Anybody who thinks he did needs to follow another sport because football ain't for them.
