..it’s the job of Walsh and his scouting and analyst network to find these types, most teams have them. It’s not just at the back, it’s in midfield as well. The first goal last night, they ran through our two left sided players because they were literally standing still. Against Watford, Rooney was embarrassingly struggling to keep up with their right back and ended up lunging at him a few times.

Remember Gary Stephens and Van den Hauwe, they had Rolls Royce engines. It makes a huge difference, you have to have it in your team at this level.

i could see why we signed him he was performing at a decent standard

this season hes been beyond shocking .. man of his experince is so clueless with the basics , why does he tend to run away from the ball when e.g. the full backs out of position and the players are marked by other defenders so instead of pressing them he runs away and give them extra time on the ball to pick out the killer pass

hes done it a few times this season and its cost goals
