Been far two long since we had two competent CBs.

Not since the Jagielka/Lescott partnership, for me.

Williams is either 10 yards deeper than the rest of our defence and playing everyone onside, or diving in and missing the ball way up the pitch. He's never, ever in a good position. It's beyond belief.

A truly horrific signing. Just want him out. Can't be arsed watching him getting rolled 40 yards out and spending 20 seconds getting his 20 stone frame back to its feet. Just retire you utter no mark.

The most frustrating part was seeing it happen a second time, which in my mind is criminal. Seeing his name on the team sheet won't bode well for the trip to Old Trafford and a dreaded Lukaku match up.

Stones/Distin was good for back half of Martinez first season. Closest thing to Distin is Mori who is injured . Keane better than Stones already.

God knows how he got the nod against Jagielka for this game given the fluidity of Spurs. The ould Royal Iris could turn quicker than him and I dont understand Koeman's blinkered view regards him - alarmingly becoming a template for a few other team/player issues. Christ knows why the massive Finch Farm retinue of coaching know-how cant see these things either. Its becoming like "the Emperor's New Clothes" fairytale.

Kane played him for a mug all game. He dropped off, brought Williams with him, layed the ball out wide and then they played the ball into the gap left by Williams. Easy peasy. Kane was immense.
