Not a red for me!

It's those type of tackles that are gettin punished and disappearing from the game. It's a contact sport but if the authorities have it their way it'l get more and more non-contact.

If he got the ball, no, but he did go in 2 footed and he missed the ball, ive seen worse with no yellow, but i suppose it was pretty high and it was defo 2 footed.

For the amount of luck they've had this season its about time they got a kick in the balls.

From the highlights then it looked like it was all Sunderland and we done by 2 swift punts foward one of which was a dodgy peno decision.

2 footed, feet in the air = Red Card. If the player who was fouled had his stoods in the ground he would have a broken ankle.

ridiculous claim, both feet off the ground over the top of the ball, he was close to putting both feet through the lads leg

Young deserved his - about time Villa had a bit of bad luck anyways!...

The Boro lad, Digard. His was harsh, didn't make an effort to stamp on the guy, just didn't break stride to completely avoid him either!.

Just think it really isnt the worst tackle i've seen. There were loads of sending offs in the league today and i don't think half of them were deserved.

I dunno maybe i'm wrong i just think it's going a bit soft. I just fear the day that a crunching 50/50 tackle that gets the crowd going, will be deemed to dangerous and players given red cards for them

That he was in a different post code to the one the ball was in shows just how late a lunge it was. studs up, two footed, no way of stopping himself :- who does he think he is? bendtner?
