when a club becomes such a sham that the chairman goes behind the managers back and sells the star player without the managers knowledge or consent, then any club, let alone a top flight club, let alone a top flight club with the history and prominence everton fc has shown, then we know we have plumbed some of the lowest depths possible.

If extremism wasnt such a strong word associated with things outside football, then i would be tempted to label a certain sector of the suppost for having extreme views with regards the club and its possible move.

it was johnson that promised redevelopment of goodison, another tier on the park end - BK was on the board for that, perhaps he is privvy to the intransigence on LCC under the reign of another leader. ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY - anyone???

Who exactly tipped off LCC that everton were talking with knowsley? its a big slip if your trying to keep things hidden and hush hush.

I have and do still believe its a game of brinksmanship, and the club and fans are the closest thing to 'piggy in the middle' there could possibly be.

I have no problem with the club telling the liverpool council to suck its balls dry, [Poor language removed] them, every one of them and their personal interests - for too long has their attitude been to neglect the so called 'intergral part of liverpool culture that is everton FC' so now is the time to branch out to where we are wanted and respected. Liverpooll is a fine city, entrenched in our history and our culture. When the move happens i hope the voters respect themselves enough to give a signal to the beurocratic halfwits that have manipulated and lied in machiavelian fashion, the circumstances surrounding the first club in the city and one of the most historic and cutting edge football clubs in not only the country but also the world.
