I think the most worrying thing is that the same injury's are going to be around for a further 2 or 3 weeks.

Thought last night's game hinged on who scored the first goal as it was that tight. Sadly for us it was Villa.

Coleman was injured playing for Ireland and shouldn’t have played against Burnley.

Don’t know about Pickford.

Dont know how DCL damaged his toe. Was that with England?

James is frozen out.

Gray was by far our best player. Rondon put himself about and had two chances. But we were overrun in midfield and Davies should have played in a 4-3-3. As much as he's got thing right this season, I think Benitez got this wrong. But tomorrow's game is another game and let's hope the team he puts out is strong enough.

But the bench is much better when everyone is fit, but saying that we do need at least 3 more in ASAP, if James goes now to Qatar at least we have some funds with him and Kean gone (Well Kean is as good as gone) Brands can then pull his finger out and start looking for potential January signings, as we really do need to spend then.

I’m not sure he will play for us again. At least Gray and Townsend have added pace to our team, much needed pace. We have been so slow over the last few years.
