Aus vs Japan

0-0.

Japan had them under the pump for most of the match, don't think Australia got one decent shot on target in the 2nd half.

More importantly, no knocks for Cahill after a reasonably quiet 90min for him - definately shouldn't be feeling over-exerted after not getting much service and hanging about by himself leading the Aussie line.

I thought Tim did a lot of running and was glad they took him off(y)

terrible match to watch, the full 90 minutes almost put me to sleep..

Japan had few chances (Mark Schwarzer is seriously underrated as a keeper, when he has a good defense his had to get past), was suprised that Tim was used as a lone striker, would have thought he would play behind the striker with Scott McDonald up front.

Glad Timmy made it through over 75 minutes without many hard knocks or hints of injury, so he'll be back and 100% to help knock out Villa.

It was crap match. Can't count the amount of times the Australians had the ball in a position to do something and panicked and tripped over the ball or there own feet.
