Aussie Everton Supporter that needs reassuring

Hi my name is qwertyboy,
I am a teenager from Victoria, Australia and have only just started watching premier league football for a year now.

I chose Boltonfc at first for no particualr reason but as I started to learn more I leant towards Everton. I am not sure how I chose Everton however I doubt it was because of Cahill as I really didn't know he played for Everton! I have started staying up at 2 in the morning just to watch some of our games and I havent been dissapointed. I started with my first live Everton game for Everton v Arsenal which was 2 weeks ago and what a cracker!

I have been looking at this forum for a while and have really learnt alot of imformation about the club. I am sort of breaking the trend of all my mates as well because all of them either go for one of the big 4 and most of them have no idea who Everton even is!

I am happy to join this forum and hopefully contribute however I have hit a dilemma. Some of my friends are really pressuring me to go for one of the big 4 (mainly Arsenal and Liverpool!) and they have some strong points and also say about our lack of success at times.

So what I am asking in this thread is if anyone can reassure me that I am going for the greatest club in England and put the doubts to rest.

Welcome mate I was the only blue in my area growing up for about 5-6 years so know where your coming from. The club will make you feel emotions you didnt know you had. Your going to love it.(y)

Thanks for all your quotes it is much appreciated, and it has made me feel so much better about my choice. Thanks to everyone and I am now dedicated to the club and ready for a long ride!

Favourite player by the way is Fellaini love the bloke.

Thanks for the Videos they were much appreciated. Just like to know how far off are we from big 4 or even team like Villa or Spurs money wise? Will we ever get to where they are?
