Heya.

Don't really think you've seen a toffee fan from Austria before. I hail from Vienna and just wanted to say hi.

I have to be honest ... I've been a toffee fan for just about a year or so now. Didn't really follow footy before but there's just something about Everton I really love. I can't really explain what it is but it suddenly struck me.

Now, I follow nearly every game I can watch and I am planning to fly to Liverpool and visit Goodison one day. Hopefully next year for a good match.

Well ... cheerio,

Austria? Well then, G'day mate!

Welcome to GOT

Why did Everton stick out, I wanna know more!

I'll be in Vienna soon, look out for me =)

Hey, landingshortly, du bist nicht allein! We did have someone else on here (from Linz?) and I think there's a supporters' group down your way somewhere in the triangle of Vienna/Budapest/Bratislava (no, not the Bermuda Triangle in your city!). Bit too far east for me with all you lowlanders and city folk.

Welcome to the site.

Yes, welcome aboard. My uncle is from Vienna too but lives in Sydney now. I hear the Viennese are very charming people.

PS - love all the "Dumb & Dumber" references from the other posters!

Wilkommen , Junge .

Thx for the warm welcome guys.

There's just something special about Everton. It's some kind of a fighting spirit even though the situation is not exactly at its best. Tim Cahill incorporates this spirit somehow, fighting till the whistle is blown, no matter what the score is. And that's also how I see Everton. Even if the ball does not go in and it's one of those stupid draws, they were trying hard to make it happen.

It's not a club like the reds, Man U, Chelsea, you name them where most of the players are mercenaries. It's a team with a great heritage, great players and players that love playing for Everton, not signing for bigger clubs like Jags & Baines. It's like Mikel & Tim who'd love to grow old at Everton. Not like some Tevez guy who switches clubs like a madman.

And I am half Aussie actually ... so the Australian greetings are somewhat accurate hehe :) - and Dumb & Dumber rocks. Love those silly movies.

Looking forward to playing with my Everton team @ PES 11 tonite before watching the derby tomorrow.
