Don't think Witsel was when we had no manager mate, or any of the others we are reportedly in 'talks' or such like with.

My take on it, We went off Koemans choices in the ones we have been talking too pre DoF, and doubt we will have ripped it all up and started again once walsh was appointed, now that would be an unmitigated disaster to have done that.

Influence of Walsh will not be seen instantly - save for maybe a couple of under the radar signings - but over time will get stronger is the best guess.

Walsh isn't an idiot, if we have advanced things a fair way down the line on quality players already then he isn't going to just pull out the talks - then again thats just my opinion

I just think that, if it was on, we'd have him by now.
