Because he's better than what we've got and if we only signed players who were really keen on playing for Everton we'd have a team of Hibberts.

If we want top quality players we'll have to pay massive wages or they'll go to CL teams instead. Simple as that.

Of all the names this summer (Witsel, Koulibaly, Mata, Rolan, Gueye etc etc) his is the one that most annoys me. That, and the somewhat obvious portrayal that we're not what he's actually looking for. Even if we get him, which I doubt, he won't be starting off on the right note. Strange one this.

I can't see him signing either now, he should've signed about 2 weeks ago and if things are all done or as close as we think they are, which I believe to be true from our sources on here, then he's clearly just waiting for a better offer or he'd of signed by now.

Juve will just wait to complete Pogba deal then raise their Witsel bid, you'll see that completed in a matter of days which will tell you all you need to know about his desire to come here.

It is, isn't it? Pogba wants Real Madrid move, while Raiola wants MUTD. They are also looking to both get the best offer and that's why it is taking that long to complete. I'd say it's a scarily similar situation.
