Nope, this is great.
I just love watching Barca, but I love watching them step up to the plate and destroy a team of talented players, ran by probably the greatest tactician in operation over the past 5 or 6 years. Guardiola and his Barcelona people pulled his pants down and smacked his arse.

It was unbelievable. I was shocked by how good Messi's ball was to Villa for the 4th. True true footballing genius from Barca.

If you ever get the chance to go to Barcelona mate, you have to go to the Nou Camp, the museum alone is just incredible. They have all kinds of sports teams, all successful. It's just quality.
I know I am overdosing on Barca tonight, but I watch football to be entertained - as opposed to Everton, I watch them to be satisfied. Barca are like, well it's like watching the best porn ever, starring completely unattainable women - and it's addictive.

I was in Montseraat, just above Barcelone, where they make and bottle Cava. We went into their cellars and there was actual bullet holes in some of the massive casks that Franco's army had fired out of spite.
Back to the football, I quite enjoyed Iniesta's spin and pass to Villa who was just offside, and also Villa's flick past Ramos before the thug chopped him down.

Envy we do, but to be honest back in 85/86 we had a great team too. It can be done. You don't necessarily need millions of pounds to spend when you have a great academy.
Sure it costs to set one up, but Barca suffered some pretty average seasons whilst this team was being built. It's just immense. No weak links at all.

Honestly mate, and I know it won't happen, I just want to see Messi come to England. If only for a season. You just know he'd set the league alight, because yes -- he's diminutive -- but his ball retention and strength is amazing, for someone so small. He hardly ever gets knocked over. He's made for Spain, but just like Ronaldo -- who's shined in both leagues -- I'd love to see him ply his trade elsewhere at some point. Well... it could be that, or it could be that I just wanna see him play at Goodison. Even though it would be against us, and he'd probably score 4

I doubt he will ever lead Barcelona. Why would you?
Seriously though Barcelone are the Blueprint. I don't see why our football club can't be run like theirs. Obviously we are way back, but they build foundations and then become what they become. We should be looking to build foundations and build a dynasty. It's not impossible. Whilst all other clubs are spending for the quick fix, we can build so our kids can enjoy going to Goodison.
If I won the lotto and had money to plough into Everton, that's exactly how I would do it. I wouldn't go out spending millions. I'd build an infrastructure so that the team can become self-sufficient in the coming years.

That said, Barca are in massive debt too. Not sure how, but they are.
Because they are horrible on transfer market (with a few exceptions) paying big money for players which are later sold for friction of that, they have to pay insane wages to keep their players plus even more performance based bonuses. And on the top of that, don't forget that Barca is not only about football - they have other sports on a very high level and that sections don't generate big money. Basketball section (which is a top team in Europe as well) has probably a budget of around 20 milion euros, not sure if they are able to generate even half of that on their own.
For example in recent years they spent 45 milion euros on trio of Hleb, Caceres and Keirrison, plus another 45 was wasted on Ibra. Huge waste of money and before that it was even worse. They also rarely get good money when selling players.
