Pretty much sums up teams who have players full of players who have won everything, they are alot more prone to games were the players "dont turn up".

Perfect example of there being no substitute for hard work and passion.

For the same reason I think Milan will struggle in the C.League final, (cant bring myself to saying what I think will happen!) but hopefully their desire for revenge will see them win it, but for me, some of there players wont run that extra mile or put in that extra 10% in a tackle.

Hope Getafe go on and win it now.

I thuink there's a difference though Danny. Barca also battling for La Liga title, so perhaps their focus was there, and the Kings Cup is really no more prstigious ion Spain than the Carling Cup, it;s nothing like the FA Cup for example.

Milan only have the CL to save their season. As you say, there's a revenge factor. I cannot see a team with people like Gattuso & Maldini not turning up.

To be honest Barca havn't been right all season. I suspect there is something fundamentally wrong in the dressing room as they're a shadow of last seasons side.

Milan on the other hand have focused everything on the CL because Serie A was a write off after the points deduction. I can see them being very up for the final, especially after they blew the one in Istanbul despite being by far the better side. I can very well see them going 3-0 up again, but I certainly can't see them losing such a lead again.

thats the shites all over a few games into the season lose a couple, right then champs league it is. but for me i would like us to win the league before the champs league. but any way they will get hammered this time 4-1 for me.

If I have one secret wish which is to win the Premiership before the [Poor language removed], it can happen as well. Just think we could tell them to kiss their arses to their CL victories we won the league which they have spent millions without success, as an old blue I'd die happy knowing that we would then be better placed than they ever have been at winning the CL ourselves.
