I tink its time to give him a chance hes been hammered enough by all! I will never condone his actions but its time to let it all die down, Jonathon Woodgate never got this level of abuse.
 
Hartson didn't even get charged when he was taped kicking Berkovic in the head.

Bowyer & Dyer only got 3 matches for brawling live for an audience of millions. Bowyer got a 1600 fine for starting it.

After their incident in Leeds, Bowyer was cleared but fined a months wages whilst Woodgate was given community service.

Di Canio only got 8 games for shoving that ref to his arse on live tv.

Cantona didn't do any time for his infamous kung-fu kick.

Barton's a muppet, no arguing that... But he's served some prison time where others have gotten away with worse, this latest charge has been a bit long coming, but I have to feel for Newcastle losing a man for 2 months, why weren't charges brought and punishment dealt whilst he was still a City player?!...
 
I think the Jail was enough for him to realise the error of his ways. I hope people let him just get on with his football after this suspention. He's just an idiot with a talant. I hope he keeps his head down now an concentrats on his football an his life. This should be his last chance thou. Any more bollocks like battering people or wild nights out. They should throw the book at him big time.

It's time for the lad to grow up.
 
Jail sentence wasnt long enough, and this ban isnt either. Ban him for a season, or even better, ship him over to Guantanamo bay, to be bummed in the showers every day.

If he manages to sidestep any trouble that comes his way in the future(which it surely will), I'd be quite frankly amazed!

The fact that Everton were rumoured to be interested in this whoppa sent shivers down my spine.....rcard
 
Its a shame cos the lad has talent. As for chances how many can you give him. He repeats the same behaviour over and over. He needs a shrink to help sort his head out. After the skunks I cant honestly see who'd have him. We could do with his skill but not with his attitude at any cost. I feel for him cos I've known people with mental health issues who get away with bad behaviour on the streets every day that you'll never hear about. He just happens to be in the limelight and in full view of everyone. He needs anger management therapy and better self control or he's gonna end up doing serious jail and jail wont fix him.
