I remember watching this lad in the Victory Shield when he was 15/16 and he was getting rave reports. He looked the business, great touch, great balance. You kind of know a different class of player at that age, and generally who is going to make it.

However, the lad obviously has had some issues with his personal dealings (no pun intended), but he is still only 18.

Anyone believe he can break into the side in the next 2 years or are we seeing another JP Kissock?

Do you still think that Kissock is the next big thing and should be fast tracked into our first team?

Heard good things about the lad when he was younger, like I did about Rooney, Rodwell and Barkley. As well as Baxter and Bidwell.

I had no reason to think they were spinning one, but to be honest none of us can really judge Kissock on his performances and have to say either Moyes didn't fancy him for his lack of progression or that he just didn't fit in.

Who knows?
 

He has made appearances for the first time, something that Kissock didn't do. I still think that he's good enough talent to look out for but there's a such a stiff competition now that had Gosling been here he's be on the bench.

I'd like to see some of James Wallace, a left footed central midfielder...never had those for a while. He could be an Ozil(y)
 

All young players deserve a chance to show what they can do, but when will they get it. Rather difficult at the moment to get even on the bench so it is up to them to really shine in the reserves and make Moyes sit up and notice.
 
he seems to have scored a few wonder goals, possibly being a bit generous there as they haven't been first team games of course. Looks promising though, just maybe not as great as we all hoped. I have a feeling he'll be the type who doesn't score many but when he does they'll be nice on the eye. Think bily and mcfadden but hopefully being a blue may have more passion

Kissock was a bit of an internet myth really.

As for Baxter, it's too early to right him off, he could still have an impact here, but you have to be realistic, the Rooney comparisons where ridiculous, he's nowhere near that level. I don't even think he's representing England anymore is he?
