I've been off work for three days, so haven't shaved since Friday. Just looks scruffy and I feel unclean, so off with the growth in the morn.

Wouldn't mind growing one if I instantly woke up one morning looking like a member of ZZ Top, but it's the getting there that puts me off!

GO FOR IT, mate. I did and haven't looked back since.
It irritates at first, but after about a month when you get your first proper trim at the barbers it feels boss and looks even better.
