Don't think so. I'm not a big fan of the MLS but im finding myself watching more and more games perhaps out of necessity. The pace has picked up but as long as Beckham stays in shape and plays like he did this past saturday I can't see him not playing in Euro 2008.

Well he doesn't need the cash, I think he wants to go there because of the fact its an untouched quantity and has a vast amount of potential to be saturated with "Soccer". And he wants to be part of it.

He has won nearly every major honour he has played for, bar International level.

But I think he felt he was pushed that way by Madrid, and its a kinda wish you were with your last girlfriend syndrome for Madrid. Not bothered when he was here, but will miss him when he has gone.

Although that doesn't apply to me.

If Real win La Liga this weekend he'll have finally won something with them and will hop it. He'll love the fact that he's made the plonkers that run the club eat their words, he'll love the fact that people in Europe no longer think of him as a hasbeen moving to America for the lolly and he'll love the fact that he's leaving with his image enhanced, leaving him safe to embark on his footballing pilgramige to bring soccer to the Yanks.
