Now, I am not much of a drinker, but I do have the opinion that most American beer is [Poor language removed]. Budweiser, Miller, Coors etc etc are all crap. When I do feel the need for a beer, I usually opt for some Stella or Corona. Rarely, if going for something darker I aim for Murphy's over Guinness. Also if out at one of the micro-brew resturants we have over here, I will normally go for the sampler of whatever the hell the brew (look up Gordon Biersch).

What do you guys drink?

I like magners the best, i did like Corona but i had a dodgy one that made me sick the rest of the night about a year ago, never drank it since. As for Lagers i think German beer is hte best, or beers around germany, so i like Heinekken and Becks the most...I can tolerate guiness but i dont know why people actually like drinking it!!

Sure it was the beer Dom and not something you ate? Or maybe because you can't hold you drink :P

real (cask) ale. when i was a lad in the midlands i drank half mild, half bitter (mixed) but down here on the south coast it's rare to find any mild, let alone a decent one, so it's just bitter - "how appropriate for an evertonian", says any rs.

Spot on with that dylan, american beer is terrible. Bubblegum beer i call it. I'd rather turn down a bottle of bud than drink it!!

Well said dom, german is about the best beer around. An Heineken is my fav by a long shot, You have a good pallet if you like thet. A propper deep, dark beer......but it's duch not german!! Iv started to like wheat beer aswell. the belgians love it. It's cloudy but very nice.

An guiness is a top tipple, problem is next day shites is the worst of it..

Ill dirink it if its wet and a safe international bet are your Buds or Heinikins! if a choice was there i would go for the belgien or littel known German beers like Erdinger and Warsteinteiner!

A safe bet is usually my, my, my mmyy, Corona! BBQ fodder!

I had 3 cans of Stella last night and had a hangover this morning. It always happens to me with Stella. I think they must bombard it with preservatives or other [Poor language removed].

Best beer for me at the moment is Wells' Banana Bread Beer.

I prefer red wine, though. A good Barolo or nice Burgundy is most welcome.

I find theres a big difference dirinking bottles to pints mate, can polish of a crate of bottles and be grand, but eight to ten pint and im in bits, i reckon its the chemicals and stuff they use to clean the lines! Or maybe ii am just a steamer!

And yes it does mean your an alchi! Your in trouble when the girls in the bottle shop know your name and you have a colection of brown bags!

Scary Sharpy lad....

I try and stick to Wheat(blonde) beer whenever possible.
- Hoffmeister (as pretty much everywhere sells it)
- Weihenstephan is by far the tastiest wheat beer ever. Tesco now sell it too which is a bonus. But you find that in a pub anywhere.....

That's the top 2 for me :D

But if I can't find either of those 2 then I drink Guinness religiously. Only original Guinness mind, that cold and extra cold ones taste like water!

Ichigo that is scary lad....... i fekkin love that stuff, its by far the best wheat beer iv had. £1.50 a bottle in tesco. Iv got a recycle bin full of empty bottles of the stuff. I was going to put it in the post before, but thought no one would have a clue what it was.

I must have about 12 of them chillin in the fridge, an don't care what time it is.........im going to have one now!! :pint: :drunk:
