I despise England but since I'm in work and have naff all else to do I may as well watch it. I'll probably keep my eye on Corrie more than this though to be honest, glad to see the Jolester isn't going to be risked of injury.

Yeah good one. Some would say that its their fault there on such highly inflated wages, some would also say its just the way football has developed over the past ten years. Me, I just think its jealousy. There is not one 20 - 30 year old fan who wished they had made it as a premiership footballer.

I would also like to say that Moyes is now on more than Cahill and Yakubu who are on 50k +, not sure about the rest of the Everton team, but if we are going to start slagging off the England side because they are overpaid, we can't be so hypocritical as to avoid labelling our own players as overpaid pansies. At least those who turn out for England win trophies.

I'm English, and I did have an opinion, but seriously what's the [Poor language removed] point when most scousers don't see themselves as English. Disgraceful.

EDIT, but i am noticing an anti-scouse vibe from your posts, im not from Liverpoo and i hate the way the National team has gone. I suppose it started with McLaren, his appointment was a joke, he wasnt good enough and the way the players failed wasnt just down to him it was down to lack of trying. If they cant be bothered to play, i cant be bothered to support them.

I am starting to get some love back, Capello is a top boss and he is getting the best out of the players, but i think its harsh to label all scousers as Anti_English, i just think a lot of ppl have fell out of love with the players.

Why is that disgraceful? I used to be hugely patriotic & then I grew up & realised this country was run by a load of utter [Poor language removed] whoppers who have no idea (or just don't care) what the majority of the people they actually work for (i.e. the public) want.

There are plenty of scousers who are pricks too but on most important issues the majority have similar opinions & ways of doing things & so I consider myself more scouse than English

I cant think of one fan who would put England's needs above his own team.that said it does not mean we dont support England I only stopped going to their matches on health grounds,and as poorly as I am I would still do my utmost to get to any game against Scotland,I love the haggis eaters with there fantastic support for their team,but I love beating them even more
