Am I the only one who despises Benitez more than any other Red manager that I can ever remember ?

He's a first class knob - some of the things he says are disrespectful - to his employers ("not enough money to spend"), to the fans (Rotation policy) - to opponents ("little clubs" etc. etc.) and the defence of the likes of Masched Potato was just ludicrous.

Other than that you got to love and respect him for keeping the run going (18 years and counting). He might well get the results in European games but his tactics are as boring as hell. Not quite the RS Way that was embodied by Armitage-Shanks and Pastie but it keeps the patrons happy with a trophy or two.

Houllier was a total gentleman, met him at my mates house when he was recovering from his operation. Evans is a rag arse, you want to see him on a golf course, he plays Services golf, left right left right left right

Fraid so. The guy is a diamond geezer in my book. Fingers crossed he gets 12 more years at their club. Done us wonders this season.
