Berbatov

£5m for a player of Berbatov's quality was a steal.

I'd be so happy if he came to Everton; he does at least one thing in every game which is worth the entrance fee, and the thought of watching him ignore Moyes' instructions every week is very exciting.

People saying that he's "not a Moyes type player" basically sums up why he will never make it as a top end manager.

Natural ability, outrageous skill, pure smouldering sexuality and a superb goal record is something he clearly doesn't look for, and it's why once again we have a bunch of forwards at the club that can't hit a f*cking barn door.

I'd take 15 Berba goals over "bringing others into play" all day long, £4m was an absolute snip for Fulham.

I like your thinking (y)

Just on the bringing others into play comment, he's fantastic at playing people in, really good vision and pass. He's a poor man's Cantona, and that's no bad thing.

Oh yeah you're definitely right there, I guess there's two ways that can be done, one being the astute passing and the other being a Victor/Yakubu type who play with their back to goal and hold the ball up well, the latter of which Moyes seems to have a raging hard on for even though it's like watching a loved one be autopsied, and one of many reasons why Jelavic is having a terrible season.

I remember a Fulham game early on this year, Berba had it about 15 in from the sideline, which was wide open, waiting for his fullback to advance into the role. He pointed at him, kept the ball, waited even longer, then, seeing the player still wasn't going to make that run, just passed it into the open space where the fullback should have been and yelled abuse at him for not running into where he should have been. No way in hell Moysey would like that, I thought it was brilliant in a way.
