Speaking ahead of tomorrows Premiership encounter with Sheffield United, their boss Neil Warnock has hailed Everton striker Andy Johnson as the Premierships 'best buy of the season'.
Warnock also went on to say Johnson is an exceptional talent and should be included in Englands upcoming fixtures.
"People said Everton paid a lot of money, but there are not many exceptional players at that price, yet Andy is one of them.
"He's very unfortunate his face does not seem to fit England-wise, but personally I would love to see him have two or three games in the team.
"I think he would do a very good job because he is unpredictable, pacy and he works his socks off. That's why he is a team player.
"Everton may have spent £8.6million on him, but he has been the best buy of the season - value for money."
Warnock also dismissed allegations that Johnson goes to ground too easily:
"Not really, but because he is so quick and slight he gives referees opportunities to question the legality of situations.
"He puts himself in those situations, and you can't blame him for that."
