What a game, what atmosphere. We simply blew United away that afternoon.
 
Sorry I am getting carried away here but ........ " Everton were irresistable and brushed the opposition aside in style " . Dead right.

2;Southampton F.A. Cup Semi 84 . Wed lost to the shabs on a replay , and were in extra time in the semi of the other comp. It was just waiting to go tits up . Then , Inchy , ...L.C.A.B. is visible , on video , twirling grey diamond front pringle around his head whilst carreering across pitch .
3;Aston Villa away, Arteta's first game , I think .04/05. Quite simply the best away performance in a generation .
4;Southampton 71 . 8-0 . The new scoreboard read ,
9, 9, 9 ,9,,8 8, 8, 7 . Bally's last goal for us . Royle and Johnson got the others .
5;Man Utd 4-3 . 03/04 . The game that sealed the Rooney deal . Though in truth , his tackle on Ronaldo at O.T. at Xmas probably had already convinced them . Fukn Whopper game .
These were just off top of 't head , as they say in Barnsley area .Im sure I can trump some of them if I think about it , but these'll do for now .
