Best Pub: Ship & Mitre, Gino's Sky Bar (Superb views of the city)

Thanks mate, some very decent looking places, just been googling them, that papillon does not look like it will show the footy, any pub/restaurant even on the outskirts for a Sunday lunch that you can watch the footy too?

Go the Royal on breck Rd,you’ll actually think you’re in a village pub in the Cotswolds.

Nova Scotia on the docks do a great roast.

There’s loads of great pubs it’s hard to name one. My particular favourites are the dispensary, the bird well, Baltic fleet and the excelsior.

I presume you are staying in the city centre?

Albert Dock is OK, with the best eatery being Maray, and a decent bar being One o clock gun close by.

….I’d suggest an afternoon pub crawl visiting the many old boozers in town. Don’t forget to look up the little side streets for places like Ye Hole in the Wall. The Guinness will fill you but you can always ask for one of the famous meat pies in The Lion with a bit of brown sauce.
