better than messi

Cole could have been one of the most exciting players in the prem but I think Chelsea just coached all the fun out of his game. Its been sad to watch him that past couple of years.
 
Given the Beardsley role in their team he will be boss.

Gerrard has had a few if he thinks he is better than Messi, but Cole will have one of the best seasons of his career next season.
 
In fairness I think its probably being taken out of context. He was referring to his tricks in training, I'm not entirely sure how Gerrard would know how good Messi is in training though. He's hardly going to say "nah hes nowhere near as good as that Messi fella" no is he.

Hasn't had an injury free season in 7 years . Never scored more than 10 goals in ANY season , more often 2 , 3 .

Also , 100K p/w .

Last year , they were the WORST Liverpool team in my memory . They've signed Cole and Jovanovich , and lost a few . Granted , Woy will build a proper infrastructure , but winning the league ???

I'd take our squad over theirs , WITH Ladyboy , Me La , Cole - You should hear some of his , Shekel Fuelled negotiation tactics , btw , and the Goalie .

He does come out with some gems does the Patron St of Merseyside.

It's their year though, Cole single-handedly to turn them into title challenges, honest.
 

Delusion in the Red Camp rears it's head yet again.

TBH when I have seen Cole play always struck me as a selfish player, not passing always wanting to go on goal on his own and sod to all around him.
