Why exactly is Ferguson seen as future management material? He had no interest in continuing in coaching when his playing contract ended here, he went away and lost all the cash he made from football on bad investments. Only then did he consider getting his coaching badges. He's been part of the coaching staff under Martinez, Koeman, Fat Sam and Silva, maybe its time he was moved on, show if he has any management potential at a lower level.

The Chelsea game last season has been replicated plenty this season (including the same fixture). They're game raisers. The rabble rousing would grow old very quick with multi millionaire footballers.

The bubble would burst yes I guess, and it's too late for Dunc now anyway, should have got the chance 4 years ago. However, whilst many are now questioning Carlo on forums I reckon big Dunc questioned him face to face tonight and challenged his tactics, it was not simply head nodding agreement he was giving. That sham tonight will have hurt him more than Ancelotti,

If that’s the case, then question Ferguson. He’s the person coaching DCL, and if he can’t slot basic chances then point the finger.

Ferguson, I love the bloke, he’s my Everton hero, my all time favourite, but him being Everton manager should never happen.

It’s a horrible scenario, but you can’t tell me it’s either of their faults today, that Coleman can’t pass or Doucoure can’t take a mans on.

This. He works with the attackers who seem so uninterested in playing together. It's so disjointed. Our entire play is get it to Digne to cross which have been getting worse. Anything else is Coleman doing a bad impression Digne, Sigurdsson shooting from distance at every bloody opportunity or Richarlison either trying to go past a man & always failing or receiving a ball, taking an age to do the simple thing then shoot into the first man then turn away in a sulk. They don't link with the midfield, they make poor runs, they are bad at making themselves available for quick passing & thier shooting sucks. Ferguson oversees this & it's poo. A legend that needs to be replaced asap. Nobody is bigger than the club. It's not all his fault though. I will save my annoyance for others for thier respective threads.

Outside, Bobby M's first season, no manager has got a tune out of our spineless team since DM. Soft tissue injuries and a broken spring in Bobby's L-shaped sofa, did for his stewardship and since then it's just been unhappy mediocrity. Big Dunc's been a part of all that...so I do not think he is any solution. The Moyesiah is probably the only man who can manage this club.
