Yes mate, narrowly missing out on Europe with the same squad that almost took us down was dreadful.
We came 10th, a terrible season dosent become a good one because the following season was worse.
Either way a world away from Kenwrights watch when a 5th, 6th and even a 4th place finish was possible

We can't say that.
When Moshiri took over we were nowhere near being relegated.

When Moshiri took over we had very much been in in trouble and were a Lukaku injury from relegation.

Martinez second and third seasons we finished 11th on 47 points both seasons. His last 10 games in the prem were 1 win, 3 draws and 6 losses. I remember very much being worried about relegation up until about April.

Mate, we just finished 16th on 39 points. Even with your pessimistic analysis of the past, we're worse now.

We are worse now then we were then because of how bad last season was but my original point was if Moshiri hadn't of came in wed be in a much worse position then the one we are in now because we couldn't of afforded to sack martinez and we'd of been relegated a long time ago.

Where's your evidence for that? The trend for our league position under Moshiri has been downward. If that trend continues we're relegated in 2023. Just because Kenwright was awful doesn't mean Moshiri isn't. They're both useless.

I'm not defending Moshiri but I'm pointing out that if Moshiri hadn't of came in we'd be in a much worse position then we are now.
