I'm surprised an Admin hasn't pinned this thread, for a while at least...

What is it with people nowadays who try an find fault or issue in absolutely everything?

If we've not got people telling us to close the thread, we have others saying we're not doing enough.

We pin threads (match threads) for a point of reference - match fixtures can be created a week in advance and lost into subsequent pages.
We pin threads (match tickets) to avoid duplication - replies aren't frequent and without it, we see duplicate threads.
We pin threads (mental health) for exposure/readily available to people who otherwise wouldn't know it exists.

All the above three type of threads we pin are mainly because the threads which are always relevant, would fall back pages and become lost.

The nature of this thread dictates it will sit at the top of the Everton forum anyway.

Terrible on Moshiri's part. Bill Kenwright was never going to walk away from Everton even when it was surely obvious to everyone around him it would be best.
I agree Moshiri has been pathetic in all of this .
He must have known how serious it was but still kept Bill as a shield taking most of the flak while he hid behind him.
In hindsight Bill was probably a decent human being but way out of his depth running a football and ultimately his own ego meant he couldn't let go.
It is all very sad that it has all ended this way he would have been remembered far more fondly if he had walked away when Moshiri came in.
RIP Bill

Has Mosh released a statement yet?

Can you close the thread? I don't think you're doing enough! (joke)

Point taken, and understood (and now my rational brain has kicked in, totally agree), was just having a moment, no need to scold me like. lol

Bill spent 20 years looking to sell to someone who would put money into the club but would still allow him to be sat in the chairman's seat front row. He never wanted to hand the running of the club over to anyone. That`s why so many people are still posting critical posts on this thread about Bill. Having a separate thread where folks can post their good memories of him might be where folks can post their good memories of the man and not have to read the critical posts that would have been the norm up until he passed away.

The Internet tends to bring out a side in people that they almost certainly wouldn't show in person. It's a shame but some very decent people get swept away by the opportunity to goad others and forget/ignore that a family and a massive group of friends are grieving.

Kopites and Skunks chiming in with the "you wanted him out the club so you shouldn't mourn his loss" shouts

As usual, typical response from a brain dead fanbase who cant separate football from human life and respect.
