Exactly that.Kings dock fell through due to inability to raise 30 million. The money had been offered, negotiations fell through because of one person.
This isn't true, ok let's say they have that money, what happens then, you really think that location wouldn't of come in for major objections? It was never going to happen, we had objections next too a sewer works on disused docklands, but there, no chance.
All that aside that location isn't that good and even after it fell apart the club still moved forward.

Sorry mate, it very true. Was party to negotiations

Precisely.... sentenced us to years of mediocrity, putting us miles behind our competition. Now requiring £760m for a smaller stadium at a less central site with no enabling funds at all.

He should've been run out of town just for that!

He makes it up as he goes along, he hasn't got a clue mate when you pull him up on it he goes missing. The other Day he stated Peter Johnson sold Wayne Rooney, Johnson had sold the club to Kenwright 3 or 4 years earlier. lol lol you couldn't make it up.

It was Duncan Ferguson that Johnson sold to Newcastle.

Rooney actually explains what happened in his Toffee TV interview, before the Euros the club , privately were trying to sell to him to Chelsea whilst in public making out he was worth £50m at least.

“The club weren’t as innocent as they made out” Rooney says

You do realise there's now an arena and expanded conference centre with multi story car park located there don't you? Covering far more land than Everton's stadium plan had proposed to cover.

You really need to do a bit of research before you spout your nonsense.... outline planning permission was intrinsic to preferred bidder status. The city planners and English partnerships were part of that whole selection process and the enabling packages were also secured and geared towards the provision of the stadium too. The dock was already filled in and the whole process predated WHS status in anycase.

The site is excellent. All major public transport hubs within a short walking distance with a capacity well in excess of the stadium's. Also with much larger attended events held in or around the site regularly.

Again, you talk with authority with little or no knowledge of the subject.

Yes, please make a fool of yourself and tell me all the relevant capacities off all these buildings.
