He obviously intentionally did that to be funny. Most media left that context out.

One of the scenarios talked about is the Lucy Liu situation.

There multiple versions out there but a consensus is he criticised her acting and said she wasn't very good, seemed he was frustrated at re-writes to the script he missed, some accounts have her throwing punches at him.

Somehow in that situation he is the villan.

The Geena Davis situation was quite creepy. The more recent situation with the cancelled film was completely inappropriate if it's accurate.

A lazy sort of actor who relies heavily on irony. I quite like him.
In truth, we don't know the half of all that went on in the film and music industries. I'm sure many beloved icons took full advantage of their status and got away with it.

I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. He seems to have to act so hard to appear normal. Made some good films though.
