Average Labour participation rates worldwide are around 80% for men and 64% for women, they’re just making shows for their target audience. It’s not balanced but neither are the rates of people who don’t work. I’m guessing because for the best part of a century men have told them to stay at home and raise the kids.

You need a fire stick or streaming service in your life mate, watching terrestrial or sky/cable tv is like living in the dark ages
The labour rates in the uk are currently 79% male to 72% female. Not very different - certainly not different enough to justify the rather large daytime bias towards women interest programming.

Have used streaming ... but geesh finding something interesting or decent quality out there really is needle in a haystack stuff.

Spending hours picking something to watch is the new watching tv mate.

To be honest the figures I saw were about 82% male to 70% female for the UK but they weren’t official government statistics. There is a massive skew in terms of what’s on but I don’t really watch terrestrial or sky tv anymore. Unless it’s sport of a weekend I don’t really watch anything before about 6pm anyway

Do you like history? The Kings & Generals channel has put up a 2 and a half hour long video about the Peloponnesian War.

I think Chris has handled himself well in here getting it from all angles.

He doesn't revert to insults and right or wrong he debates well.
Its so easy to sling mud on the internet on any debate
I agree 100%, never insults and is a master debater.

You tramp around from thread to thread looking for trolling opportunities where you can use a mask of self righteous indignation to try to wind people up, without ever having the wit, imagination or originality to post something useful or interesting. You are nothing more than a tick feeding off the back of the Grand Old Team forum and I pity you for not even knowing how stupid you make yourself sound.

Ah you're back after a month in hiding after being outed for being a wum that only trades in insults you unctuous pecksniff.

Here's a couple more fine examples of reasoned debate, however as the thread is locked I can't quote them;

'But I'll be watching you when I feel like it - so keep your rationality and logic together you libellous Scrappy-Doo or I'll spare two of my brain cells some time to tangle with your minute understandings of the world again sometime'

'As I said - this thread isn't the right place for your sanctimonious, frothing you troll.'

There was also my favourite (think it's in the New Arena thread) where Chris called me a dung eater. All because I criticised him mentioning seventeen times in one day in the Mason Greenwood thread that women often make up sexual assault claims and that the transcript detailing the awful assault could well have been deep fake. But he defo doesn't have issues with women and would never resort to insults over rhetoric.

For what it's worth, I have no issues with a good insult, especially if it's witty. Just pointing out the rampant hypocrisy!

Is this about being black or about how brilliant women are?

Have the feminists hijacked another thing to beat their drum as if they're still being enslaved like they were in the 1960s when everything good was done by women but men took the credit and caused cancer by smoking their white privileged in men only meeting rooms?

Or is it about black history, when men and women were exploited by white men and women in Europe and - not often mentioned - black men and women in Africa?

Just be clear- slavery is wrong, prejudice is wrong, sexism is wrong (from either sex) and repression is wrong.

BBC radio 4 will undoubtedly obsess about this "month" all the way to December. 🙄
The bookies actually had to take the odds off the board of you making a post like this in this thread

Context:

The difference there was that I was dealing with an obvious wum who almost entirely swings into threads solely to throw an insult. I illustrated it with a number of screenshots of your cobtributions that you have chosen not to quote here for some reason. Nor have you quoted comments from other users that agreed with my assertions.

I hope it made you think and become a better person In the month you spent away from the forum.
