Yes, I do want to stir up a debate. After my innocent post about a footballer of colour, I was told by Ghost that "oppression" of Black people has gone.

OK, tell that to Leona Lewis (she's mixed race, but her dad is Black). She's not exactly a low profile person. Now tell me there is no oppression of Black people, however you want to define it.

And before you use the "they all call each other the N word, so they have no say" I don't, so don't tar everyone with the words of a few.

PS over 10 yeers ago, my first trip to liverpool City centre, I've never seen do many security guards eager to escort me around their shop, it was like having a personal assistant.

And yes, I am fuming, though I shouldn't be.

Greetings BT, we have met several times, have a lot of time for you and by talking about racism is the only way we, as humans, can combat it. I can equate this problem to sectarianism in Northern Ireland, which is a topic for another day, you tend to find that it is only a minority who cause the problems, and minorities can have very loud voices.

I beleive you are right in keeping this matter in profile, it is not nice for some and may be uncomfortable. This is why it continues, people don't have the spherical objects to tackle the problem.

I have never seen this happen before and I shop in Liverpool all the time.

Stop looking for stuff and dredging up debates that are not necessary.

I also wonder why Black on White racism doesn't get any PR, is that because it doesn't exist eh mate? I have friend who beg to differ.
