yet more talk/speculation today, the blackburn winger/wide man is available on a free in the summer.

'free' sounds nice, 'wide man' would appear to be addressing an issue with the current squad, but why cant mr gray get a game at the rather average blackburn?

Signed from hometown club Sunderland in 2004, former England international Gray was the Black Cats' longest serving player before joining Celtic on loan in August 2003. Starting out as a left winger, the former Manchester United schoolboy matured into an attacking left back, strong both defensively and when going forward. His consistent performances were rewarded with a call-up to the England team in 1999.

this is the guy that rooney punched whilst they were both in a restaurant, although rooney physically assaulted gray, it was gray that was ejected from the premisis. the trappings of fame eh, its not what you know, its who you know.
