Boss photos you've taken

...these are all very nice but I can't understand why anybody takes a picture without a family member or friend on it. There are millions of pictures on the internet of views and insects but surely a 'boss photo' is one that matters. I'll go back in my box now.
That's just exactly what my ma says! :)
Thing is, pictures of family members are boss to those for whom they're meaningful. The rest of the world isn't going to be impressed with auntie flo unless it's some dramatically textured high contrast portrait of her weather worn face, accented with the skillful use of light. That's what we're seeing with the bug pictures. It's the skill level and use of light that makes them boss.

...I understand where you're coming from, Chris. It is an art but me and your Mum are on the same page.

You ignore those that mock mate.

You're photos are great and the weirder the better ;)

Went to Cadair Idris in North Wales on Thursday, anyone been there? Our school went there to study glaciation in Geography, was well funny, me and this lad both did a Rolling Browning and got lost on everyone thinking it might be quicker to get back to the bus going as the crow flies to the car park rather then follow the path!! Obviously as an adult i wouldnt do that again. Was great to go back after nearly 30 years and walk around the ridge.

Have you ever been in the Winter, when it's really crisp and cold ?.

The light up there, when it's like that is amazing.

Not there but Ive done the summit of Snowdon a few times when its covered in snow and cold, and a couple of peaks around the Ogwen Valley, best places to go when theres no footy on!

Nothing too boss, but was trying to kill time while waiting to pick up a friend at DCA (Reagan National Airport, DC), and didn't want to pay for parking, so I headed over to a park that is right on the flight path. The planes come in quite low...it's pretty cool.

There's a new dinner that is going around
Called the Chomp...
do the Chomp.
You can do it to the rhythm of that caterpillar sound
It's the Chomp
do the Chomp....

Come on, how many of you started singing the tune The Bump, by Kenny???

Anyway...

Here's the chomp...

A sawfly caterpillar I suspect, chomping through a leaf in the garden tonight at aroun 11pm!
