Boss photos you've taken


I wish I'd have thought about multiple exposures when I was in Sagrada Familia & Grande Mosque last month (although tripods ain't allowed in the Mosque). The low light in those places made photos very difficult.
 


I guess I just don't go for the cartoonish looking HDR. What Paul has done with his image seems, to me, to be what HDR is all about. Keeping an image clean, but getting the most out of the different exposures, and not going bat crazy with saturation.
 
HDR software gives plenty of options - many of which can overcook an image, so it's a case of choosing the right level of processing and careful choice of tone-mapping.

HDR also works better on certain images and on the other side of the coin - looks goddamned awful on some images, so you also have to choose what photo to use carefully too.

if i remember i will upload some photos! (from my phone so not great) of my walk to and from work over the south downs tomorrow!

Maybe he did not play as long as other dates but it was brilliant! I had been looking forward to the set
of Darkness on the Edge of Town, but it was not to be!
