Here is Cheeta (not really Tarzan's, who died aged 80 in December 2011)...
Taken at Chester Zoo on an old 400D, but the 70-200L lens.

Nice pics Esk and Pat. You're asking to have your pole shoot straight out in to the surf there, it doesn't look anchored. That tree at Ankor is iconic...probably been pictured a bazillion times. Never gets old, though.

though I've never seen it, I'm guessing that's when she acquired her taste for cambodian orphans

Visited Portland Bill in the west of Dorset, bout an hour from where I live. This is where the 2012 Olympic sailing etc was held.
The first picture is taken from the new Jailhouse Cafe and Restaurant. At the top of Portland is HMS Verne Prison and the cafe here has just been opened and is run by the prisoners. This is the view from the cafe garden.

Just down the road is Portland Bill (The Lighthouse). This shot taken with me lying on the ground looking up for a slightly different perspective. Taken with a 12mm UWA converter and slight cropped to remove the damn tourists. What was even cooler is the house on the right of the picture is available to rent. Almost worth it for a winter let to do some great winter photography. Jack my eldest and I went to the top of the Lighthouse but getting shots was pretty impossible but the view was great.
