Why is he talking about retirement when he can become the first undisputed heavyweight champion in yonks ? Surely he fights winner of Joshua and Uysk rematch and gets all the belts. Cement your legacy, why would you not want to do that ?

No way he’s retiring. His current fight deal is up now and so silly money will be getting thrown his way.
 
Better boxing pundits with far more boxing knowledge than most of us will ever have rate him as worthy of the discussion as one of the GOATs.

Make of that what you will. As you say, different eras, also different sport in many respects
Absolutely. These heavyweights are giants, absolute giants. The problem in this era is, you’ve got giants, then massive men who are 6’3/6’4 weighing 18/19stone. It’s two divisions in one in a way.
 

Boring fight. As far as 'boxing' goes, he did his job, held him off with the long jab, held if he felt White was getting some pace and tapped away until he got a half-uppercut in - coupled with a push.

Typical Fury snoozefest.
