Boxing

It’s a difference of opinions and I think Fury beats Joshua(always believe he beats Joshua), just because of the footwork and his engine. But Joshua has got the tools and attributes to beat Fury. See the problem with Joshua, his two losses have come to fighters who are a nightmare for him stylistically, short, fast hands and south paws. Joshua had the same thing happen to him that’s happened to Mike Tyson, he’s lost his invincibility and people ain’t scared of him. Fury vs Joshua is a great great fight. They clash perfectly style wise.

People are quick to dismantle Joshua and what he’s done for the sport. Without Joshua, the isn’t a fight at Wembley tonight.
I don’t disagree in terms of what he’s done for the sport in the uk . But what attributes has he got to beat fury ?

I’ve seen AJ live 8 times at least I don’t hate or dislike him. But fury doesn’t lose to Ruiz like that . ruiz camp for that fight was in a Taco Bell .

The legacy argument is null and void after him losing twice , the only thing left to do is usyk for fury , beating AJ is nothing more than a bonus

I think Boxing fans are too harsh, you should have to fight every top heavyweight in your division like in the UFC, in boxing if someone loses a couple fights people think they are done/finished and that fighting them proves nothing... but upsets can happen, especially in heavyweight boxing. The top boxers should all have to fight each other and Joshua is still considered a top fighter in the heavyweight division, the outcome may seem obvious but it's still a fight that should happen. Other than the Uysk fight what other top heavyweight is there left for him to take on ? Him and Joshua are the only two fights of any interest left for him.

Joshua is a good heavy but some of his wins are overrated. What are his best wins other than Klitschko? Probably Whyte and Parker. Fury beats both comfortably.

I would like to see AJ Vs Whyte or Wilder though. A good acid test.

It's hard to say , look at any era other than Say the Ali , fazier, times there where a lot of good fighters at one time.
A Lot of great boxers in this weight really didn't have many to stand out against Larry Holmes for instance in his prime,
even maciano , only had about 4 decent names on his list. Walcott, Moore, Lewis, Charles and 3 of them were very late 30's when he fought them other one was 33 and a light heavy in reality.
Fury can retire knowing he is the best of his time.
He is that big a lot of former greats would get near him
Aj might get him out of retirement for the money mind you?
Great points and I agree. It’s a lazy and easy argument to have that certain fighters wouldn’t beat that fight and this fighter from yester year.

He’s that big, that he can also use his jab and footwork to make a lot of the older timers look silly. It’s like saying Mayweather wouldn’t of beat some of the greats from previous eras, it’s hard to say, we’ll never know.

Fury vs Joshua is still a massive win regardless of him losing two fights.

harsh but fair , usyk is the only true puzzle left for fury.

One Joshua had got the speed, timing and explosive power to catch and hurt Fury.

Joshua is a great pressure fighter, fury doesn’t like been put under pressure and starts to flap a little bit, Joshua can exploit that. He’s got the power to push him back.

Joshua got a great shot selection, doesn’t just throw straights. Can fight on the inside and use angles that Fury wouldn’t of dealt with before.

Joshua fighters better against taller dnd dangly fighters.

Joshua can box, got a good iq(not on fury’s level)

Joshua knows how to use the ring.

Tyson is a brilliant fighter with a special story. If that's the end he goes down as the best heavyweight of this generation.

Would love to see him against Usyk but I completely get why he's retiring. 6 kids, soon to be 7 and he's got enough money to last 3 or 4 lifetimes.
Hope he go

It would be decent if Aj wins the rematch.
AJ has a punchers chance , and has better basic boxing skills than Wilder who had a bit of a go in the first fight.
I would like Fury to retire for his family sake , nothing to prove, money in the bank , bit of a legend and good health.
He can train or do lots of other stuff and tv loves him so can keep himself busy.

Not so much boxing fans its the promoters that cause this.

Its why in Boxing so many good level boxers cherry pick opponents and dodge good level opponents as they fear losing their unbeaten record.

If Fury fights Usyk and Joshua and beats both then I would be swayed into putting him in the elite bracket but until then there will always be a question mark for me which is a shame but thats boxing for you.
