Boycott Scotland and Scottish products

as was stated on talksport on this issue, America was happy for a Scottish trial under Scottish law, under the same Scottish law he has become eligable for release (3 months to live gives release on compassionate grounds), so now they want the law changed to suit what they want.

suprised they didnt try to force the plane over to the states or somewhere to drip water on his face all night and torture him.
Scotland could maybe now be looking at an invasion by yankie kids with grenades and 'their' parliament blown off the face of the earth, before some american 5th gen scot called Tam is put into office.

i dont agree with the release, but the rules is the rules.

The nerve of them. Not the cranks who've put that petition together, but the Obama administration and FBI. Destabilising countries all over the globe, cosying up to Gadaffi through trade missions but they'll pick on our red headed step child for an act of humanity.

Apart from a few woolly jumpers that I should have thrown out last year and a Burns supper once a year I can't think of any other Scottish products that I use. Not that I would subscribe to any boycott of Scottish products anyway.

I'm with Reidy, I dont agree with the release, but the rules is the rules.

I do suspect some of our cousins across the pond may decide to picket their local McDonalds. Only in America eh.

Doh!

marks haggis and Iron Bru off shopping list*
Another example of why the internet is a dangerous place.
He shouldn't have been released though. He was not compassionate when murdering all those innocent people.

Not a completely safe conviction though...or so I read...which hasn't been that much, tbh.

According to a report by the BBC, Dr Hans Köchler, one of the UN observers at the trial, expressed serious doubts about the fairness of the proceedings and spoke of a "spectacular miscarriage of justice.

Hans Köchler (born October 18, 1948 in Schwaz, Tyrol, Austria).

Dangerous with google you lid.
Google "people who sound important casting doubt over 9/11"
He was convicted by a jury who did so on the premise no doubt.

I dont know enough about the case to carry on, just sayin it was something I read. I dont believe everything I read.

I did read the aliens crashed the planes at 9/11, but I doubt thats true.

Too bad there's really nothing over here that is "scottish" in name like french fries and french dressing. When the Frenchies got all in a bunch about us invading Iraq, idiots went about renaming things "freedom fries" and "Freedom dressing".

The closest would be Scotch tape - is this now "retribution tape"?

We're an odd lot.

(For disclosure, I was fully opposed to invading Iraq but let's not quag this up into a political issue....)
