Right that's it, I'm [Poor language removed] that site off for good. Just laced with one side opinionated nob heads. I know sometimes I can have a one track view of things, but I'm never cynical against my own club. Its like ToffeeWeb have made their bed and now they must lie in it, they can never turn the boat around.
To be honest, that kind of attitude seaped through to the forum members, and its still evident here, and I'm not aiming this directly at anyone in particular, because I left TW forum as Most Negative Member, so nobody was immune.
But lets just look at the facts, we are in Europe, decent start to the season, have made 8 signings if you include Da Silva and Howard making their move permanent.
We have signed 2 quality English defenders who I think are capable of making the step up to almost World Class.
We have signed a young South African who is highly thought of.
We have signed a striker who has a better goals to game ratio then Graeme Sharp.
We have re-signed a player who although not exceptional at all times, can be influential when he wants to be, and that is a nice option to have.
We have signed a young goal machine in Lukas.
Add to that AJ, Arteta, Cahill, Yobo, and Lescott and its looking pretty decent indeed.
Oh and we have James Vaughan too.
Actually if we include Wessell its 9.
We have a great training academy with some quality kids being developed.
We have plans to move to a plush new stadium.
We have harmony at board level, and possible investment avenues.
So why the [Poor language removed] does ToffeeWeb see the need to have a moan at every turn, its like nothing the club does is good enough.
Well I'm sorry, but signing Gazza and Ginola at the end of their careers is not good enough. Finishing close the relegation constantly during the 90's is not good enough.
What we have now is [Poor language removed] great and its about time that bollocks of a site recognised the hard work that is going in to make this club great again.
Until they recognise that fact, my eyes will never scan that site again.
