Where to start, Englands woeful performances in competitions and qualifying? the FA trying to milk as much from wembley as possible? the hoodoo of penalty taking under pressure at international level? the general malais of feeling and pride at international level?

theres not much else i can say, the england squad doesnt get together enough to get to know one another, on or off the pitch (unless they are degenerate gambling addicts)

4 maybe 6 games a year 2 against the scots, 2 against the welsh, and maybe 2 against the irish, would see wembley (£££) the millenium and hampdem park used and whichever irish stadium they are using.

no game can end in a draw, any draw at full time means penalties.

club managers might complain about the amount of games, but i cant see a huge problem, even if it means international managers giving peripheral squad players a chance... second england side for me looks a bit like...

.................foster
young....king...lescott....bridge
swp.....jenas..reo coker..milner
...........ashton...d.bent

As for the other nations, i can only think of giggs and fletcher that are involved with the further reaches of european competition to properly upset their managers.
