I've just had a phone call to the house phone from some random scouse person who sounded a bit drunk.
(3 people have my number as far as I know, and a few companies, but we've set up the account now where you don't get random phone calls from companies)

The conversation went as follows

Him: Can I speak to Mr Pusley
Me: This is Miss Pugsley
Him:Can I speak to Mr. Pusley
Me: Its Pugsley, and he's not here.
Him: Can I speak to him?
Me: No he's not here, he doesn't live here
Him: Is this not *** drive?
Me: Yes, this is his daughter, I live here
Him: Where does he live then?
Me: Devon.
Him: Oh right can I have a contact number
Me: No, why do you need to speak to him?
Him: Its brsshh gas
Me: Who?
Him: British gas
Me: Oh right, so why do you want to speak to him?
Him: To see if he wants to switch to British gas
Me: He doesn't
Him: Are you sure, I've got the stuff here to sort it if you do?
Me: No, we're fine thanks
Him: Fine then you n***er

Erm?

It was from a witheld number but I'm just wondering why he would ask for my dad if it was a prank and also who would have that number.

But seriously, odds are it was just someone from British Gas anyway? - You would be surprised how easily such companies can obtain numbers.

And they'd say that?

Just weird he was scouse and also used horrific language.

I worked for QVC for a while - it does happen. One customer had her address details changed to something quite horrific - I was the lucky person who had to deal with her telephone call...

To clarify, it was a racist remark he said and not "nutter" yeah? Wouldn't take it personal, as obviously your white - so that means he doesn't know you. Wouldnt think anymore of it.

I'm not bothered about the comment being directing at me, more that he thinks its ok to say it.

If he did work for British Gas, I'm gonna make sure he gets sacked.

I would say he does because;

a. He had some of your details (Surname, Road... removed road name by the way, were you not told of internet safety madam?)
b. It would be a very, very poor prank? I mean... British Gas? Its too random and just not funny.
c. Working in a call centre for QVC, people were often suspended/sacked for being drunk and for comments made. It does happen.

Either one of the companies that have your number sold it to BG and the person there needs to be sacked or it is one of the people who have your number on a wind up.

Can you get in touch with BG and explain although they will probably deny it all.

is it not obvious danny, she posted those details as her latest way of flirting with me, just come out and say it girl, say what it is that you want.

btw danny i very much doubt if it's the little kiss that you posted.
