What do u brits get for Broadband speed?

Gday mate. We can get different speeds, different prices, ranging from £15 to £50, for say 10MB,20MB,50MB.

mine is getting upgraded to 10mb for the basic package although i can have 50mb as they have it in my area. it's fibre optic too so what they say is what you get, whereas off telecom it's always "upto" so the further from the exchange the slower the speed.

That is DSL. Cable modems don't suffer that loss.
