I love the Bundesliga.

Borussia Dortmund has some of the best support anywhere. I want to attend a match there as well as Werder Bremen when I make my UK/Germany trip in September 2010.

I hope to get back into my yearly trip over to that part of the world.(y)

I think to even watch Bayern its only $15-25 US a ticket. Even clubs like Norwich City charge double that much.

Its nice that even the clubs that have a ton of money like Hoffenheim are using their money to build a stadium and building their team the right way with young players who cost no more than 5-8M Euros.

I haven't seen it but the new Bayern arena has colors that change accordingly to whatever team in playing, if it's Bayern then it's a red stadium, if it's 1860 then it's blue, and if it's the national side it's white, quite fantastic, not sure of how many of these there are, it must be unique.

I think it's about 65,000 in terms of capacity, and it will hold the European Cup final next season, or thereafter, not sure what color they will have for that one.

The allianz arena is brilliant, but just seems a bit soulless to me.

Some of the stadiums are fabulous though.

I read a few years ago of people who would fly over to Germany for the day to watch a football game then fly back, because it was cheaper than watching a PL game. And better. They still have terraces, and you're allowed to drink in the stadiums.

wow, they could do that if we ever share with the [Poor language removed], look at the colors there, blue for us, red for them, and white when England play whenever needed, all we need to do is find a suitable location.

and a stadium for World Cup 2018 if England are chosen.

not going to happen is it, it's the colors that get the attention isin't it.

Got to hand it the Germans when it comes to their stadiums they do go all out and every game it can be packed to the rafters just have to look at Everton's trip to Nuremburg a few seasons ago even though they are no longer in the top division of German football their stadium was magnificent and was rammed.
Borussia Dortmund's stadium is another one that is just amazing, is it true that one section alone holds about 25,000 and is still all terrace?

Dortmund get regular attendances of 80,000 at their ground, thats more people than saw us beat Manchester United in the 95 Cup Final, and that's every week nearly, fantastic support for a club that has little chance of repeating their 1996 title success.

proper supporters there, they deserve some success.

Best stadium I ever went to was the Azteca in Mexico City, saw the World Cup final there, you can't get better than that, and Maradona at his supreme best. :dancing:

(not gloating here)

There is a youtube video of UK Borussia Dortmund fans who do that quite often. The prices are right and the atmosphere is simply amazing. I guess they first visited that stadium for the 2006 World Cup and wanted to see the actual Dortmund club play and they have been hooked ever since.b)

WOAH!!!

I want one.

I think their stadium is the same set up as the NFL Arizona stadium with same retractable roof and the field and roll in and out of the stadium so you don't hurt the grass when a concert is held there.
