With just a year remaining on his contract, Everton manager David Moyes has moved to assure fans that there is no need to worry regarding his future at Goodison Park.

SkySports claim 'a number of clubs are monitoring the Scot', but the God like figure on Merseyside has spoke of his desire to remain Everton manager but it appears he will demand the board match his own ambitions before signing any deal.

Moyes: "I've still got a year to go, don't forget, it's not as though it's running out tomorrow,"

"We'll have a better idea at the end of the season - and where we finish could dictate a few things.

"But there shouldn't be any fear among the fans. Leaving is not on my mind or something I've ever even considered.

"It's up to the board and of course I am interested to see what the next stage is for Everton.

"But that will all be part of the discussion around that time."
