Yes, it's that all-important day that you've all been waiting for - Canada Day is tomorrow. I know that everyone on this forum is totally excited to be part of the momentous and monumental occasion when the mighty Canadians wake up on the 142nd anniversary of the founding of this great nation.

So to help you all get into the spirit of the event, here are 5 things you may not have known about Canada:
  1. It's not always cold here - it only snows 362 days a year.
  2. Best coffee in the world available here (at Tim Hortons).
  3. Worst coffee in the world available here (at Starbucks).
  4. Canadian beer actually sucks - and Ontario wine actually doesn't.
  5. I'm not really Canadian, I'm a Romulan spy.

Bought some silver Maples just for the event. Wonder what the US$ and Candian$ will look like this time next year.:o

Canada is a beautiful country.(y)

So what actually happens? You get together and get drunk?

Canada day..is that the equivalent of St Georges day........?

Meh, I've gone off Canada in the last 10 years, my dad married a Psycho Canadian from Ontario and had a long term relation with a nice but loopy Toronto lady

Nah I like Canada, just don't fancy living there which is why I'll be off to California when I can afford it :D

The English...."[Poor language removed] George, I prefer Paddy"

Imagine the Americans doing that, or vice a versa the Canadians!

According to my American cousin, Canada Day is the curtainraiser for July 4.

Traditional Canada Day activities include barbecues, drinking beer, and fireworks.

Have a great day. Got lot's of family/friends over there, Montreal, Ottawa, Iqualuit (wild place). Great people, fabulous country.

Canada and Australia have a lot in common, apart from your country having a few more mountains, were we have beaches.

My life-long dream to go there.
