What's a good career move, i'm sick of sitting in front of a computer all day (aka software developer). I would like to go on one of those crab boats like on "dealiest catch", but i dont think my mrs would let me

here all week, get in early - often a crush near the front.

Its awful isnt it.

Every time they say 'Live are on the line" it just means someones broken down and theres a que behind him.

For an Aussie I hear working in the mines pays good money. Anything resource orientated is big bucks right now. D'ya know much about geology?

Pays a shiteload.

Horrible work though. And you have to live in places like Kalgoorlie, where the mosquitos are on first name basis, the women are tougher than the men, and the red dirt becomes your second skin.

And bundy wtf to your wtf?

get a job for one of the uk newspapers as a sports reporter doing the transfer news. you just have to make it all up everyday, say we're interested in some [Poor language removed] player for 10 times his value and quick as lightning, Rafael goes and signs him. get loads of badges made with the players mug on as a sideline(y)

in sydney i had a job as a fitter at garden island, wooloomoolo, i was a contractor and the guys i 'worked' with just went round the big factories working the shutdowns, they stagger them a sthere arent enough fitters to all shutdown at the same time, they work 3 months max and get paid vast sums. tip, if you like vegemite dont do their shutdown, me i prefer vagshemight.
by the way my job at garden island was on the re-fit of hmas brisbane, it involved sitting on the side of the ship in january, looking at the botanical gardens, opera house and harbour bridge with handlines over the side, we cut a big hole in the side for ventilation at water level(code for 'so we could get the big fish out') the view is even more pleasant on the eye now as the sheep shed at wooloomooloo has now been done up.
and more importantly we could go to 'the cafe de wheels' for smoko and lunch(y)
